The bridge was built in the 1st Century. We walked across at the start of today’s journey. The photo showing the distant hilly mountain is where we walk tomorrow. Where we cross a steep climb up and steep going down the other side
Day 6 – To Rubiaes
Jrristine and I were nervous because elveryone was talking about this day-steep mountain climb with a steep decent
Day 7: To Valenca
This town was our last night in Port7gal. It;s on the river that divides Spain and Portugal in this area. (IEditor’s note: It is unclear which pictures are from Day 6 and Day 7. They ware in order of how they were sent.)
The fuzzy balls on the tree are chestnut trees. They are prevalent in Spain and Portugal.
This pack belonged to a guy who installed a clothesline in the back and was drying his laundry.
We sat out and had a glass of wine. You can look across at Spain.
Day 8 – To O Porrino
I lost the sole of my right shoe. I was walking alone and (unclear) in my fanny pack and wasn’t too concerned. I could not tell the difference. Photos to follow.
